Maria Enzersdorf
The market town of Maria Enzersdorf in the district of Mödling is located in the south-eastern Vienna Woods - just outside the city of Vienna. The history of this Lower Austrian town is still closely linked to viticulture. Archaeological finds prove the early settlement of the area by Celts and Romans. Maria Enzersdorf was first mentioned in a document around 1130. Today, Maria Enzersdorf invites you to visit its culturally significant sights - and to take a rural break not far from the city with its wonderful walks in the countryside.
