The idyllic municipality of Sigmundsherberg is located on the edge of the Wald- und Weinviertel, the Manhartsberg, at an altitude of 436 meters above sea level. The market town in the district of Horn consists of the cadastral communities of Brugg, Kainreith, Missingdorf, Rodingersdorf, Röhrawiesen, Sigmundsherberg, Theras and Walkenstein.
