Popis
Most of your cycling trip is on specially guided cycle paths, and the remaining sections are on lightly trafficked side streets and settlements, consistently along the Traisen.
The landscape is varied, the path leads without major climbs even upstream, and is easy to manage for children as well.

Popis trasy Shuttle and Zoo Tour - Radial Cycling (1)
You cycle about 3 km to the bus stop "Göblasbruck-Ortsmitte". Here you transfer at 9:14 a.m. to the Radtramper Bus and ride to the terminus "Kernhof - Old Station" (arrival 10:17 a.m.). Directly next to the old station building, which now houses the custom shoe making Pfaffenlehner, you access the cycle path, which runs here on the former railway line.
To get to the camel theater, ride about 800 m further south, towards Mariazell. Follow the Hoyossiedlung in a right angle to the junction with B21 and cross it. Then you are directly at the entrance to the White Zoo.
The bike tour from Kernhof towards Wilhelmsburg then takes you north, downstream. The first 6 km you ride on the former railway line, slightly downhill through the wonderful nature of the Mostviertel Alps.
In St. Aegyd we recommend stopping at one of the bike-friendly establishments. In the MAHO Stuben directly at the Reiterbauernhof MAHO you can watch horses and riders from the terrace. The Landgasthof zum Blumentritt spoils with gourmet cuisine, the Gasthof Vogelleitner and the Gasthof "Zum Niederhaus" invite you to a shady beer garden. A detour to the Weißenbach Valley leads you to Herzerl Mitzi at the Holzof, who is famous for her gingerbread hearts.
The section from St. Aegyd to Hohenberg is a particularly beautiful stretch. A detour is worthwhile to the Schleierwasserfall and the Hinterbergteich, two idyllic places to relax.
In Freiland, the two source rivers of the Traisen, the Türnitzer (or Right) Traisen and the Unrechttraisen merge. Further downstream you pass Lilienfeld Abbey. A visit to the basilica or the abbey park is worthwhile.
Moti’s Strandbar (chill right at the Traisen), Gasthof Ebner (shady beer garden with large chestnut trees) in Lilienfeld or Florian's Teichstüberl (sun terrace, playground) shortly before the destination in Wilhelmsburg ensure refreshment for tired cyclists.
After cycling 45 km, your bike day ends again at the Franzl guesthouse in Wilhelmsburg.
