At the Bernharsthal playground, children are greeted by Vicky the Viking, dinosaurs and Maya the Bee. The fenced-in toddler area is equipped with a water play combination, a large sandpit, slide, balancing station, nest swing and a wooden house for plenty of fun and variety. Hide and seek is played behind the snack hedge. The little break in between can be enjoyed on the solid wooden set with a view of the beautiful landscaped pond under the large awning. The slightly separate area for the older children provides plenty of action with a ropeway and a six-metre high climbing frame. The huge grassy hill is perfect for tobogganing in winter and romping around in summer. The children's playground is located right next to the 25-hectare landscape pond. The approx. 3-kilometre circular path, which is suitable for baby carriages, leads directly along the water and invites you to take a stroll where you can watch swans, herons and wild ducks. On the "wood trail" around the pond, you can scan QR codes to download interesting facts about the native trees and shrubs onto your cell phone. In winter, the pond is used for ice skating and curling, and in summer for pedal boating.
