Popis
Krátká cesta do minulosti a zpět. Z Göstlingu trasa zpočátku mírně stoupá 7 kilometrů do Lassingu, výchozího/koncového bodu zážitkového světa Mendlingtal. Po krátkém, ale velmi strmém (16 %) stoupání odbočíte směrem na Hollenstein, následující klesání vede k dalšímu výchozímu/koncovému bodu 3,5 kilometru dlouhé, divoce romantické soutěsky podél potoka, kde najdete jednu z posledních funkčních plavebních kanálů ve střední Evropě.
Za ní vede úzká silnice až na Promau (cca 4 km, max. 8 %), kde k posezení vybízí krásné odpočívadlo s výhledem na Gamsstein a Königsberg. Následujících 10 km vede z kopce (max. 8 %) přes Sandgraben a opět se přiblížíte civilizaci a dojedete do Hollensteinu an der Ybbs se slavnou lázní Flussstrandbad.
Trasa pokračuje proti proudu řeky po Cyklostezce Ybbstalradweg krásnou krajinou podél řeky a přes St. Georgen a Kogelsbach zpět do Göstlingu.

Popis trasy Am Holzweg
From Göstling, leave the town heading south and follow the Erlauftalstraße to Lassing. Opposite the small village, turn half right towards Lassing and climb the short, steep ascent into the Mendling Valley. It goes equally steeply down on the other side before the road becomes narrower but less steep towards Promau. In several bends, it goes uphill for about 4 km to the Promau height, followed by a 10 km long descent (initially steeper, later only moderately descending) to Hollenstein.
Through the village and over the bridge to the other side of the Ybbs, switch to the Ybbstalradweg and follow it back to Göstling.
