Popis trasy Circular hike over the Hoher Lindkogel
We start at the train station in Pottenstein and hike up the Triesting along the bike path. At the first bridge, we cross the Triesting and the federal road to follow the blue marking in the Einsiedlergraben. On a narrow path, we cross a wooden bridge and a forest road until we reach the paved Wolfsgeiststraße. Here we follow the yellow marking (left). After the former Wolfsgeist inn, we turn left at the intersection (red) to reach meadows with a wonderful view. Following the hiking trail, we reach the forest again after crossing the meadow. We arrive at the "Red Cross", which we leave 50m to the right to stay on the yellow route. We follow the forest path to the forest road, where we reach the B111 (yellow). Then we turn right to follow the B111 to the Rohrbach junction. From there, we go north and turn right after the last house onto the Alland 9 hiking trail (green) towards Hoher Lindkogel. At the summit, we hike down to the Merkenstein ruin (red-purple, no. 3). We follow the marked path (red) and cross the B222. After the Lehrforst buildings, we go straight ahead (red) to the Herrgottskreuz. Via the Blumentalweg, we reach the bus stop on the right and continue over Gutensteinerstraße back to the train station.
