Popis
Fels am Wagram, with a cultivation area of around 800 ha, is Austria's third largest wine-growing community. This is also impressively reflected on a hike through the vineyard slopes and cellar lanes. The landscape is strongly shaped by viticulture, which is a special feature of the region. The mix of the large flat areas of the Tullnerfeld with the hilly wine landscape of the distinctive Wagram edge offers every hiker an appropriate challenge. Along the way, you can get closer to the topic of wine at the wine education trail, on a walk with our cellar lane guides, or in a local wine tavern. At the highest points of the hiking trails, you will be rewarded with wonderful views over the Tullnerfeld. The Fels lookout tower, at the northern end of the Hammergraben, is easily accessible and freely accessible at any time. The view extends beautifully far into the Tullnerfeld and towards Traismauer.
