The Manhartsberg Cycle Path: a route where Waldviertel culture and viticulture come together – with breathtaking panoramic views on top.
From Horn to Langenlois, the Manhartsberg Cycle Path leads through idyllic villages, untouched forests, and picturesque vineyards. But that's not all! The route around the Manhartsberg also promises numerous worthwhile stops – a kind of bonus along the way. The Krahuletzmuseum in Eggenburg, for example, brings long-past history back to life, while Burgschleinitz Castle entices with a breathtaking view. Just a few kilometers away, the Amethyst World in Maissau playfully imparts valuable knowledge about gemstones. The pleasure worlds in the Ursin Haus and in the WeinWelt Loisium at the tour's destination in Langenlois complete the cultural and gustatory offerings. And while local wines can be thoroughly enjoyed in the wine taverns, accommodations at the destination offer the ideal opportunity for a relaxed end to the day.
Due to road construction, the area "Trautbach" 3491 Elsarn will be partially impassable from June 2024.

Horn - Rodingersdorf - Klein Meiseldorf - Eggenburg - Burgschleinitz - Maissau - Eggendorf - Elsarn - Strass - Langenlois
The Manhartsberg Cycle Path leads from Horn to the southern Kamptal to Langenlois and can also be combined with the KTM Cycle Route as a circular route. With a total distance of 79.87 kilometers, the route is not quite easy. However, it is suitable in stages for pleasure cyclists and families.
The route begins in Horn and leads via Sigmundsherberg and Meiseldorf to Eggenburg, where the Krahuletzmuseum already invites a first stop. The next fixed point along the route is the market town of Burgschleinitz. Its namesake castle is certainly worth another break with its unique panoramic view. Just like the Amethyst World in Maissau a few kilometers further. From there, the cycle path leads to Elsarn, Strass, and Etsdorf am Kamp. The last stage finally runs from Grafenegg and Hadersdorf am Kamp to Langenlois, the endpoint of the route, where various wine taverns offer a pleasurable finale.
