Popis trasy Peilstein Adventure Trail

Starting from the car park at the Mostheuriger Karner inn, the themed route is clearly signposted. We will start at the first information board of the “Erlebnisweg Peilstein” (Peilstein Adventure Trail) and walk along the meadow path parallel to the wind-breakers. Our route will take us east towards the edge of the forest, and the path has a slight incline. The hike will mainly lead us along field and forest paths, and up to the Peilsteinhaus at 716 m above sea level. Halfway along the route, we will have the chance to stop at the Gasthof am Holzschlag inn. Coming down from the summit, we will follow the same route until we reach the intersection outside the Gasthof am Holzschlag. Shortly after that, we will turn off to the right and join the Via Sacra or the Vienna Pilgrimage Trail, and will soon return to the starting point.
