Krátký popis
The town of Heldenberg with its many sights is the starting point of the Schmidatal wine experience route. The cultural and natural history heritage of this small region is best reflected in the 800-year-old Brandlhof in Radlbrunn or in the "Amethyst City" Maissau.
Popis
The Schmidatal offers visitors a wonderful landscape full of experiences and relaxation. In Heldenberg, the start and end point of this wine experience route, you already have the opportunity at the beginning to watch elegant horses at the Lipizzaner training center, immerse yourself in the past at the Stone Age village, or simply enjoy a good glass of wine at the LPSM wine shop. The route follows the Schmida in the Schmidatal-Manhartsberg landscape park. Starting with the town of Radlbrunn near Ziersdorf, where the cultural life of the Weinviertel is upheld in the 800-year-old Brandlhof, continuing to Hohenwarth-Mühlbach, the "western gateway to the Weinviertel" and birthplace of the dialect poet Joseph Misson, the route then leads along the Manhartsberg to Ravelsbach with its baroque Jakob Prandtauer church. A special feature in this transitional landscape from the Waldviertel to the Weinviertel is the "Amethyst City" Maissau. Much here is bathed in purple, the reason for which can be found in the Amethyst World. This wine experience route is rounded off by a glass of wine in the rustic cellar lane of Roseldorf.
