The 113-kilometer-long route with 910 meters of elevation leads through the beautiful Melk Alpine foothills. The gentle hills and wide fields of this region provide a varied riding experience. A special highlight is the impressive Melk Abbey, majestically overlooking the Danube and offering an unforgettable view. Another gem along the route is the climb to Osterburg, which you usually have all to yourself. Charming towns of the Texingtal like Mank, Kilb, and St. Leonhard am Forst invite you to take a short break.

There are paid underground parking spaces available in the government district area (partially free of charge during evenings and weekends)
St. Pölten is easily accessible by train via ÖBB and Westbahn. The main train station in St. Pölten is only a few minutes’ bike ride from the start and end point.
