Váš pobyt
Harrauer's Living natural-modern-homely: located between the gently rolling eastern Mostviertel and the Danube, this accommodation is ideal as a starting point for many Excursion destinations and leisure activities such as hiking and cycling. The proximity to the train station also makes a car-free journey possible.
Harrauer's Living is located in the village of Erlauf, directly on the Erlauftal cycle path. The Harrauer family runs an arable farm and rents out rooms and apartments.
The newly built rooms and apartments are cozy and comfortably furnished with high-quality carpentry furniture. All rooms are on the second floor.
As a certified RAD-friendly host, the needs of cyclists are particularly important.
E-bike rental and bicycle repair shop are nearby. We are also happy to help with minor repairs at the farm. A bicycle garage with repair kit is available to all guests. If you wish, you can also order a packed lunch for the road or indulge in regional and seasonal delicacies at the farm. Please always book half board in advance.
Excursion tips
The location directly on the Erlauftal cycle path, which leads into the Danube cycle path, is predestined for cycling excursions.
Melk Abbey (10km away) and Maria Taferl (6km away) are easily accessible by bike. Melk - the gateway to the Wachau - offers many cultural and culinary attractions.
The numerous wine taverns along the Danube cycle path also invite you to take a tour and stop for a bite to eat. For example, you can take a Danube boat trip from Melk to Krems and enjoy the backdrop of the wine terraces and apricot gardens on the way back.
Another recommendation for a day trip is a round trip along the Erlauftal cycle path with a visit to the Haubiversum, hiking along the Erlauf gorge and a stop at the Mostlandhof.
The Erlauf river nature trail is also highly recommended for children.
Erlauf also has a lot to offer hikers. A hiking trail leads directly from the farm past the Eichberg Chapel to the Hochgreding viewing platform, which offers a wonderful view of the Alpine foothills.
