Bierkanter e.U.

On the Datzberger family's Vierkanthof farm, the Bierkanter team produces genuine craft beer using the farm's own malting barley and the best hops from Bavaria and the Mühlviertel region.
The microbrewery's range includes fruity pale ales, dark chocolaty stouts, Belgian seasonal beers and the "Craft vom Land", a classic bottom-fermented lager.

In 2017, Bierkanter was awarded the title of national champion in the creative beer category at the Austrian Beer Challenge. Sustainability is also important to the team; for example, the energy for the brewing processes is sourced directly from the farm's own photovoltaic system and the brewing water comes from the brewery's own well.

Tip: The craft beers are available in the newly designed Bierkanter AbHof store, selected establishments on the Moststraße (e.g. Sunshine Gallery) and in the Amstetten bar and craft scene.
