Bootsanlegestelle Hafenwirt Erlaufmündung

Popis

The Hafenwirt at the mouth of the Erlauf in Pöchlarn also offers its guests a jetty.

Welcome to the town of the Nibelungs: the enchanting municipality of Pöchlarn is the early medieval Bechelaren of the Song of the Nibelungs. Everywhere in Pöchlarn - which is known for its picturesque old town - historic buildings invite you to look and marvel: The parish church Maria Himmelfahrt from the 14th/15th century was baroqueized in the second half of the 19th century. The Nibelung monument shows the coats of arms of the Nibelung towns. The Welser Tower from 1484 has housed the town museum since 1931. A magnificent museum is dedicated to Pöchlarn's famous local son Oskar Kokoschka: the Kokoschka House - the birthplace of the world-famous artist - is home to extensive documentation with works by Kokoschka himself. There are also temporary exhibitions of works by his most important students.
