Weingut – Winzerbräu Hofbauer

The Hofbauer winery in Unterretzbach, first mentioned in a document in 1615, is known for its outstanding production of Grüne Veltliner, the winery's most important variety. However, the estate's specialty lies in the Burgundy varieties, for which the Unterretzbach vineyards offer optimal soil and climatic conditions. Sweet wines are also becoming increasingly important at the winery. Special emphasis is placed on natural production. The vines are carefully cultivated and cared for with a great deal of manual work, experience and sensitivity, which creates the ideal conditions for the quality of the future wines. During the harvest, the grapes are strictly controlled and selected so that only the best grapes are processed. Quality, tradition and genuine passion in the glass are the hallmarks of the Hofbauer winery.
