Enjoy your stay in Groß Siegharts, the heart of the Bandlkramerlandl. Enjoy a ride on the Thayatal cycle path through the wonderful landscape of the Waldviertel and South Bohemia. Afterwards, relax and unwind in a beautiful spot: the Naschplatzl.

Located right next to one of the entry points to the cycle path, coming from Göpfritz at the entrance to Groß Siegharts opposite Billa, this oasis of peace was created on the initiative of TVV Bandlkramerlandl. A whole range of trees and shrubs, some of which are unusual for our latitudes, were planted here, including the rock pear, nashi pear, star apple, apricot vine and a northern mulberry tree, as well as shrubs such as hawthorn and coral willow.

Even from this incomplete list, you can see that this unique place invites you to linger, to nibble and taste a wide variety of berries and fruits, to look and smell, to observe and marvel. Or you can simply lie down in the shade of the plants and reflect on the day's experiences. Or you can use the Naschplatzl as a place to chat with fellow cyclists about the current tour, and chat with locals about what else there is to see and experience in Groß Siegharts.
