Weinbau und Buschenschank Schabel

The Schabel winery is characterized by a long family tradition in viticulture. Over 100 years of knowledge characterize the wines, which are pressed on a vineyard area of 10 hectares. The focus is on the production of 80% white wine and 20% red wine. The winery participates in the Austrian program for the promotion of environmentally friendly, extensive agriculture that protects the natural habitat. The area's flagship variety, the Grüne Veltliner, is particularly noteworthy. However, other white wine varieties such as Müller Thurgau, Gelber Muskateller, Rheinriesling, Welschriesling and Weißburgunder are also on offer. The red wine varieties include Zweigelt, Blauburger and Blaufränkisch. The Schabel winery and Buschenschank (typical tavern) thus offers an impressive variety of wines that are characterized by centuries of tradition and sustainable agriculture.
