Weingut Harald Schmölz

The Harald Schmölz winery, located 15 km north of Vienna's city limits, is a family-run business that has existed for generations. The third generation, represented by Harald Schmölz, has specialized entirely in viticulture and opened a Buschenschank (typical tavern). In addition to the flagship variety Grüne Veltliner, Welsch and Rheinriesling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Gelber Muskateller also thrive on the six hectares of the winery. The red wine varieties are also represented with Zweigelt, St. Laurent, Merlot and Blauburger. The adjacent Buschenschank (typical tavern) invites you to taste the variety of the numerous award-winning wines from Friday to Sunday in all odd-numbered months. You can also enjoy the smoked meats and sausages produced by the estate's own free-range pigs.
