The winery Ing. Christoph Bieglmayer, a family business in Mittergrabern, a small village near the district capital of Hollabrunn, can look back on over ten years of history. Fifty years ago, his ancestors began bottling wines from a single variety. As a trained farmer, the legacy is continued with the principle of 'as much as necessary, as little as possible'. Regenerative agriculture is not a buzzword, but a way of life that involves actively building up humus through greening and strengthening soil life. Diversity in the soil leads to diversity in the wine. The emphasis is on personal initiative and individuality rather than following trends. The wines are authentic and may show vintage-specific differences. The holistic approach is also lived in the vinification, chemical tartaric stabilization is avoided. Grüne Veltliner, the main variety in the Weinviertel and at the winery, is vinified both as a DAC and in a full-bodied version. But the Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Symposium and Zweigelt also give great pleasure. A visit is worthwhile to discover the variety of wines.
