Weingut Johann Böheim

Half of Böheim's vineyards are planted with white vines and half with red vines. A total of 19 hectares are cultivated and around 100,000 bottles of wine are bottled each year. The favorite among the white wines here is the Grüne Veltliner, while Johann Böheim prefers the Blauer Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch and Merlot varieties for the red wines. The different vineyard sites (Stuhlwerker, Gabler and Kräften) are specially matched to the regional typicity of the grape varieties and perfectly developed. This results in elegant white wines and full-bodied, powerful red wines every year.
