Weingut Meierhof Raggendorf

The Meierhof Raggendorf winery, located in the eastern Weinviertel in the large Matzner Hügel vineyard, comprises 30 hectares of vineyards in the best locations in the large municipality of Matzen-Raggendorf. Wines of the highest quality thrive on raw loess soils and loess schernozem. The vineyard is managed by the 6th generation and places great value on natural plant protection as well as careful foliage work and soil cultivation. This guarantees the preservation of ripe, healthy grapes. After the single-varietal harvest, the grapes are crushed and gently pressed. The wines are given the necessary time to mature before they are bottled as single-varietal wines. The winery produces seven white wines: Weinviertel DAC (Grüne Veltliner), Welschriesling, Rheinriesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon blanc, Roter Muskateller and two red wines: Blauer Portugieser, Zweigelt rose, Zweigelt. Viticulture has a long tradition in this family and they always strive to pass on this love of wine by creating outstanding wines.
