Weingut Paier

The Paier winery, a family business since 1847, is managed by Theodor Paier senior and junior and is one of the great quality domains of the Weinviertel. As a traditional winery, it stands for the best wine quality, guaranteed by its own cultivation on 20 hectares of vineyards. The vineyards are nestled in the best locations of the Retz vineyards, on the sun-drenched slopes of the Manhartsberg. The mild, dry climate and the most hours of sunshine in Austria give the wine its quality. Careful care of the vines, careful harvesting and pressing of the individual varieties and long ageing in oak barrels allow the wine to reach its full maturity. The Paier Winery regularly takes part in the Lower Austrian Provincial Wine Fair, the Retz Wine Week and the Wine Guide.
