Weingut Prechtl

The Prechtl winery, located in Zellerndorf in the Retzer Land region, is run by the 5th generation and specializes in the Grüne Veltliner grape variety. The unique combination of cool nights and hot days gives the wines an unmistakable aroma, strength and elegance. The sustainable cultivation of the vineyard, which uses bull manure as fertilizer and completely avoids herbicides, contributes to the high quality of the wines. Six varieties of Grüne Veltliner are produced under the Weinviertel DAC label, which thrive on primary rock, loess and former seabed. The range is complemented by a selection of white wines, including Riesling, Welschriesling, Gelber Muskateller, Sauvignon Blanc and a Burgundy cuvée. The red wine range is rounded off with Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch and St. Laurent. The Prechtl winery is not only known for its excellent wines, but also for its summer store and café, which invite you to linger.
