The Weineck winery, with its 11 hectares of vineyards on loess and unique primary rock soils around the Manhartsberg in Röschitz, offers impressive control over each individual site. With a focus on white wines, which account for 75% of production, Grüne Veltliner is the main focus. This can be tasted in all facets of the individual sites and stages of development. The complexity, elegance and minerality of the wines are reflected in a wide selection of varieties such as Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Gelber Muskateller, Chardonnay and Frühroter Veltliner. Every year, work is carried out with infinite passion for viticulture, constant striving for outstanding quality and a great deal of courage to innovate, despite a deep attachment to tradition. The extraordinary interplay of healthy grapes, climate, terroir and state-of-the-art cellar technology, coupled with an innovative philosophy, forms the basis for the wines. With HINTERHOLZ 8, a single-vineyard Zweigelt that is allowed to mature in barrels for 28 months, Martin Weineck has demonstrated the potential of his characteristic red single-vineyard wines and caused a sensation. The numerous awards won by the wines reflect the high standard of the winery.
