The Schwertführer 47er winery is widely known and loved as a pleasure winery.
Whether at a fine wine tavern or at home - the wines from the 47er always promise the highest level of enjoyment that brings great pleasure.
The Schwertführer family's winery at No. 47 Sooßer Hauptstraße was founded in 1957 and is now run jointly by two generations.
The fact that striving for the best possible quality is the essence of the business is not only evident from the very, very long list of awards (e.g. Lower Austrian Winery of the Year 2017&2018, Salon Winner), but also as a guest in the wine tavern.
On Fridays and Saturdays, over 40 wines - half of them award-winning! - are served by the glass.
Good wine naturally calls for good food. At the Schwerführers, it is homemade, including warm classics such as Surschnitzel, Hendelhaxerl and roast pork, as well as a selection of crisp, fresh salads and vegetarian dishes. There are also cold delicacies such as spreads and cheese.
