Weinhof zum Fridericus

Weinhof zum Fridericus is a family business that has been run for generations and switched completely to organic farming in the mid-1990s. The variety of products on offer ranges from spelt and spelt flour to psyllium seeds, pumpkin seed oil, sunflower oil, wormwood wine (Maikur), parsley honey wine and fennel seeds. The white and red wines are processed in the company's own winery, with around 70% being marketed in bouteilles and 30% in 1-liter bottles, as fruit juice or in bags in boxes. The wide selection of varieties can be tasted and purchased directly at the winery. In addition, around 40 hectares of arable land are available for the cultivation of spelt, oil pumpkin, maize, rye, sunflowers, fennel, psyllium, camelina, potatoes, hemp, field peas and barley. All products can be purchased directly from the farm or by mail order and can be inspected and tasted on site. Weinhof zum Fridericus is a convincing example of sustainable and organic food production.
