Burg Raabs

The publisher Richard Pils and his family are the current owners of the castle. The "Library of the Province" publishes numerous award-winning books. Books take center stage at the annual Poets' Festival in August.

The castle is entered via the forecourt with its Renaissance arrow arcades. The large and small knights' halls are located in the main castle. From the chapel to the narrow altane, you have a magnificent view over the town of Raabs and can see the confluence of the German and Moravian Dyje rivers.

Guided tours take place from May to October every Saturday, Sunday and public holiday on the hour from 10 am to 5 pm.
