Auterrasse Stopfenreuth

The Auterrasse on the Danube near Stopfenreuth is a two-storey platform at the end of the riverside road. It is a popular resting place, offers views of the river and has a small exhibition on the history of the region. There is a wild swimming area with a natural beach on the adjacent bank of the Danube, which is popular with visitors. There is also an idyllic circular hiking trail through the Stopfenreuth floodplains past the car terrace.

Please take all garbage back with you, there are no bins on site. Making a fire is prohibited. The former campsite at the Auterrasse has been abandoned.
