The region offers three fascinating Excursion destinations that will delight nature lovers and geomancy enthusiasts alike. Many people know Großschönau as a center for solar energy, but the granite rocks also attract dowsers and hikers. Beginners and advanced hikers can explore the effects of earth grids and water veins.

The Steinerne Stube and the Kleine Steinerne Stube are granite blocks covered in moss that form an accessible space. Conspicuous rocks such as the Altar Stone, Druid Stone and Bowl Stone are considered to be places of energetic power. The circular trail there is just under six kilometers long and is also suitable for children; the hike takes around two hours. The Frauhaus impresses with huge granite boulders on a wooded hill. Two aristocratic women found shelter under a rock overhang during the Swedish Wars. The Frauhausweg trail starts in Großschönau, is around nine kilometers long and takes over two hours.

The Rabenloch is a mystical cave measuring three by seven meters, embedded in a 12-meter-high rock formation. In 2010, artists immortalized the "Forest and Meadow Epic" in the rocks here, dedicated to the forest animals. The short circular walk takes around one and a half hours and offers an impressive experience of nature. These granite rocks near Großschönau combine nature, history and geomantic power in a unique way and make every hike worthwhile.
