Krumbach

The market town of Krumbach is nestled in the Bucklige Welt in Wiener Neustadt-Land. Excavations prove that the area was settled as early as the Stone, Bronze and Roman Ages. The village was first mentioned in documents in 1182 and the church is thought to have been founded between 824 and 850. The castle, which still stands today, was built in the 13th century.

Today, Krumbach is a popular excursion and vacation destination for the whole family - with an outdoor pool, children's playground, event center and sports facilities. Worth seeing are the Gothic parish church with baroque vicarage, the Erasmus church and several small sacral monuments throughout the municipality. Marked hiking trails and mountain bike routes as well as the Zöbernbach cycle path, which is particularly suitable for families, invite you to enjoy fresh air adventures together. Well-run restaurants and cafés provide for your physical well-being.
