Kulturkeller Schloss Dobersberg

With the construction of the Kulturkeller in Dobersberg Castle, the municipality has created an event venue that ideally meets the needs of local clubs and residents thanks to its multifunctional facilities.

The Kulturkeller was created from the historic basement of the castle by leaving the vaults in their original state and renovating them with great sensitivity. Barrier-free access on the outside and a ramp next to the steps on the inside are evidence of the fact that they were aware of their contemporary responsibilities.

The cultural association that runs the Kulturkeller focuses on the visual arts, music, literature, cabaret and film. The Kulturkeller has developed into a competence center for ceramics, and exhibitions of Austrian and Czech artists are presented twice a year. There are also regular country exhibitions. Events organized by the creative laboratory and the "Handmade Night" concerts by the LiMuPic association round off the programme.
