Mühlhof
Historické místo
Popis
The Mühlhof, which was commissioned as an electricity power plant in 1905, was first mentioned as a mill in 1551. In addition to the hydroelectric power plant, a thermally operated generator was also installed, with Scheibbs demonstrating its pioneering spirit with the early use of a steam turbine. In 1925, the hydropower plant was renovated and the steam turbine was replaced by a diesel generator. This machine set was preserved in the museum during the modernization completed in 2015 and can now be viewed at the same time as the new machine as part of a guided tour of the town.
