Stiegenwirtshaus Gloggnitz

Hostinec / pohostinství, Občerstvení

Popis

Gloggnitz is home to Lower Austria's smallest inn: the Stiegenwirtshaus.

The house was built in the 17th century by the then "Lords of Gloggnitz Castle" as a stable and later converted into a blacksmith's and wagon smithy. According to oral tradition, the building has been an inn since the mid-19th century - with just four tables, the Stiegenwirtshaus is one of the smallest inns in Lower Austria. Home-style cooking, snack specialties and delicacies are freshly prepared here.

The Stiegenwirtshaus is located on the last section of the railroad hiking trail to Gloggnitz and is the ideal place to stop off after a long hike.
