A touch of Scandinavia An extensive forest area on the western edge of the Waldviertel highlands between Bad Großpertholz and Karlstift is home to this nature park with a Nordic-Scandinavian character. The dense coniferous forests are interspersed with island-like fields and meadows, ponds and high moors.
750 ha of charming landscape at the foothills of the Bohemian Forest with striking granite remnants.
