Gärtnerei Hick

The Hick nursery is located directly on the Danube riverside road and offers a selection of genuine Wachau landscape culture - in pots to take away. The typical plants of the region, such as grapevines, vineyard peaches, apricot and almond trees, are cultivated here.

The Hick nursery in the middle of the Wachau World Heritage Site is located directly on the Danube riverside road between the Jamek and Prager vineyards, at the Waldviertel / Seiberer junction, and offers a selection of genuine Wachau plant culture.

The typical plants of the region such as vines, almond and apricot trees are cultivated here. Like almost all potted and garden plants, the cut flowers also come from the production of the affiliated production company, which are turned into true works of art by creative florists. As imaginative decorations, they embellish celebrations and special, personal occasions.

The rich selection of plants and flowers changes with the seasons, and a visit is worthwhile at any time of year. Stylish accessories for the home and garden, including English stone statues, round off the range.

Apricot trees, grapevines or our bedding rose "Die schöne Wachauerin". Take some souvenirs from the Wachau with you. Whenever you want - even on Sundays or public holidays! Herbs, roses and potted plants, Advent wreaths - depending on the season, you can also find gifts and decorations for your home in the plant nursery. In our refrigerated display case in the entrance area you will also find a selection of colorful bouquets - always fresh! The green takeaway is open around the clock, right next to the main entrance.
