From Fischbach over the mystical Teufelstein and P. Rosegger's forest homeland to the Pretul
Popis
The Styrian main trail of the alpannonia® hiking trail starts in the center of Fischbach with an ascent to the so-called "Zellerkreuz". The trail continues to the Almtor, from where you can reach the Teufelstein summit (1499m) in about 15 minutes via a side branch. The Teufelstein is home to the oldest alpine cult site in Styria. From the Almtor, it goes leisurely without major inclines towards Alpl. From Alpl it goes steadily uphill to the Rattener Alm with the distinctive wind park. From there you reach the Rosegger shelter over alpine meadows.
Tip: detour to the birthplace of Peter Rosegger and to the forest school. At Alpl, you can visit the forest school founded by Peter Rosegger, which also houses Austria's first hiking museum.
