After a short warm-up phase, it goes up the Schindelsattel after just a few kilometers and then quickly down into the Walstern. Coming from the Walstern—a popular excursion destination for many guests—the route continues to the famous pilgrimage site of Mariazell. The final stage leads from Mariazell along the road and then the bike path to the crystal-clear Erlauf Lake.
