Beautiful cycling path through the Helenental! Almost the entire cycle path runs through the forest and is wonderful to ride in summer. One of the most beautiful cycling paths in the Vienna Woods.

We start at Stift Heiligenkreuz and follow the B11 until we turn right into Siegenfelderweg. Finally, we arrive in Siegenfeld, where we keep heading south and then turn right in Rosental into a forested area that leads us to Helenental. Here we first follow the Helenental cycle path and then veer off into the terrain to calmly reach Mayerling. There we cross the B210 and cycle back to Stift Heiligenkreuz on a forest path.

A safe and functional mountain bike is a prerequisite for all routes. Helmet and gloves protect in case of falls and can be supplemented with knee and elbow pads on single/shared trails. A modern mountain bike with disc brakes and sufficient tire profile is recommended. For single and shared trails from the red difficulty level, a full suspension bike with modern geometry is recommended. Tools, tire levers, pump, and spare tube help in case of a breakdown. Enough provisions (drinks and food) should be carried as well as a mobile phone and wind/rain jacket.
Bezpečnostní informaceBefore each ride, check the functionality of brakes, tires, and suspension fork/shock absorber. Always ride with hazard awareness and controlled speed and adapt the route choice to the group's riding skills and the terrain. The Fair Play rules must be observed at all times.Single/shared trails as well as built routes in trail parks and trail centers often have stones, roots, steep sections, steps, and sharp turns that require certain riding skills. When in doubt, simply dismount and push the bike.
