ATTENTION: Due to logging operations, the ski lift road to Jauerling is closed until the end of October 2025!

This route excites ambitious mountain bikers. From Maria Laach to Hochjauerling, over the romantic Heuweg to Spitz, past the Nonnersdorfer Cross with constant views of the Danube on the way back.

Popis

Z poutního místa Maria Laach dojedeme na kole do Hochjauerlingu, odkud se nám naskytne pohled na celé panorama údolí Dunaje. Divoká a romantická haťová stezka nás zavede do vinařské obce Spitz a odtud podél Dunaje do Schwallenbachu. Nyní se vydáme po neprohrnuté polní cestě do Gießhüblu, kde můžeme obdivovat středověkou obrannou věž. Po návratu do Maria Laach jedeme na kole po lesních cestách k Nonnersdorfer Kreuz a odtud zpět do Maria Laach přes klidné vesnice a cesty, které opakovaně nabízejí výhledy do údolí Dunaje.
