The two innkeepers Jörg and Erwin Hartl have quickly built up a large regular clientele with their brewery inn "zum Fiakerwirt". Home-brewed beer has been produced in the heart of the wine town of Langenlois since 2008. The Fiakerbräu, which is not fully filtered, has a more malty and hoppy taste in the glass. This goes down well with people in the region. A welcome counterpart to the wide range of wines on offer in Kamp Valley ("Kamptal" in German). The pub cuisine is also of a very high standard. It is meat-heavy and scores with high quality beef and pork. The Fiakergulasch with fried egg and sausages harmonizes perfectly with the wide range of beers on offer. The roasted potatoes with pickled gherkins and grilled pork fillet are in no way inferior.

Beer, whisky and pub classics

The Braugasthaus zum Fiakerwirt takes a regional approach. Not only the meat products - the vegetables also come from local farms. We use what nature and the season have to offer. This includes some rarities that are hard to find anywhere else. As befits a "real" brew pub, qualified beer sommeliers recommend the right beer to accompany the selected dishes. The Fiaker Whisky Single Malt takes things in a different direction in terms of taste. The "water of life" is also produced here. The interior is fitting and reflects the original inn culture. In the summer months, the pub garden is the place to be.
