Café-Konditorei Hagmann, founded in 1836, represents the Lower Austrian and especially the Wachau confectionery tradition like no other. The product range includes classic confectionery dishes, cakes, chocolates, pralines, gingerbread as well as coffee and ice cream specialties. A special highlight is the year-round 'Wachau chocolate presentation' for groups of 20 people or more on the first floor of the Hagmann confectionery.
Wachau chocolate stands for high-quality ingredients from the local area and careful handmade production. Only the best ingredients and the finest raw materials are used. Konditorei Hagmann is constantly improving its own traditional recipes and works exclusively with traditional recipes and classic artisan methods. The quality of the products is guaranteed by the naturally longer shelf life of the ingredients, without the use of chemical preservatives. Konditorei Hagmann was awarded the Austrian National Coat of Arms, the Lower Austrian Craft Award and the Golden Coffee Bean by Gault Millau as Best Confectionery 2001.
