The Andreas-Friedenswarte on the Halterberg near Rassing is located in the Mostviertel hiking landscape of Kapelln.
Above the HL-Bahn Perschlingtal crossing, a lookout point in the form of a wooden structure with a height of 8.20 m was erected on the so-called "Halterberg" in 2004. This lookout point at 276 m above sea level is located on an unwooded hill above the Perschlingtal, south-east of the village of Rassing. From here you have a beautiful view to the south towards the foothills of the Alps, to the west towards the provincial capital and to the north towards the Traisental valley.
A visit to the Andreas-Friedenswarte can easily be incorporated into a beautiful hike around Kapelln.
Accessibility for hikers
The Andreas-Friedenswarte can be reached directly by car. You can visit it on foot as part of a circular hiking tour around numerous cadastral areas in the municipality of Kapelln. The panoramic hike covers more than 20 kilometers over easy terrain.
