Freizeitanlage Bad Traunstein

The leisure facility is located on the outskirts of Bad Traunstein. The heart of the leisure facility is the natural bathing pond. It is surrounded by:

• a quiet sunbathing lawn for sun-seekers: the facility is surrounded by trees and shrubs and is therefore shielded from the road and neighbors.
• The bathing pond has a deep zone for experienced swimmers and shallow water for children. Swimming and use of the sunbathing lawn are free of charge.
• a barbecue area: barbecuing is possible at any time at the barbecue area.
• a children's playground for active children with play options for very young and older children.
• a beach volleyball court for real beach fans: The beach volleyball court is also available to you free of charge.
• an outdoor court: this can be used for inline skating, skateboarding, etc. In winter, weather permitting, it becomes an ice skating rink.
• a tennis court for sports enthusiasts: the key is in the key safe by the pond restaurant. Please enter both players in the reservation list. For TSU Bad Traunstein members, use is free of charge, otherwise a fee of € 5.00/hour will be charged.

Ice skating
Depending on the weather, the outdoor rink at the leisure center is transformed into an ice skating paradise in winter by spraying water on it. You can ice skate free of charge every day from 2 pm. Ice skates can be hired on site (cost: € 2) and there is a floodlight system for ice disco and evening activities.
