Surrounded by vineyards in the middle of the original Wachau in the municipality of Weißenkirchen in der Wachau, Daniela and Stefan Friesenbichler brew bottom- and top-fermented beers by hand on a 5 HL system. They use malt from Grieskirchen and specialty malts from Bamberg. The hops come from the Mühlviertel and Bavaria as well as from the USA for "exotic" beers. The beers are served on dates announced in advance on Facebook or on request by telephone.
