Elisabeth Burger creates beguiling objects for living spaces by hand from colored glass. Each piece is unique.

A creative world of colored glass awaits visitors to Elisabeth Burger's glass art studio in Gmünd: vases, bowls, sculptures, pictures, illuminated glass panels and much more. The trained industrial clerk was infected by the "colored glass virus" in the early 1980s. A few years later, she and her partner opened the glass art studio in Gmünd. Creative design, traditional craftsmanship and a love of detail characterize the original works from the glass studio. Burger has been using the fused glass technique exclusively since 2000 and has continued to develop the art of glass melting, known as fusing, ever since. "The fascination of glass, the mystery of the material, the play with color and light inspire us to create new objects again and again," enthuses Elisabeth Burger. Her works of art can be admired and purchased at the glass art studio in Gmünd-Neustadt.
