Hiesbergwarte

Popis
The Hiesbergwarte (427m) is a good one and a half kilometers away from the Hiesberg summit that gives it its name. But the location is special:
A huge monolith overlooks the elongated Senftenberg. The viewpoint is located on a huge granite stone tower on the steeply sloping Hiesbergwand at 427 m above sea level and is secured with an iron railing. The ascent to the Hiesbergwarte begins in the Hiesberg district near the campsite. From the valley, the viewpoint is easy to see because of the red-white-red tin weather vane, which was erected in 1931 by long-time summer visitor Heinrich Husbeck at his expense. After making a note in the summit book, you can enjoy the beautiful view.
