The artificial ice rink in Eggenburg is a popular meeting place for ice skaters of all ages. With an ice surface of 900 m², it offers plenty of space for sporting activities and fun on the ice. The ice skating season runs from the beginning of December to mid-February, although the exact dates may vary depending on weather conditions. For those who do not have their own skates, it is possible to hire ice skates in sizes 25 to 47. Seven ice skating aids in the form of ice skating penguins and bears are available for children who are learning to ice skate. These provide beginners with safety and stability on the ice and every season is made special by the hard-working trainers, the brave skaters and the tireless supporters on the sidelines.
