Mozarts Pinkelstein
Historické místo
Popis
The legend of the "Pinkelstein" in Raschala is well known. It is said that Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart found relief under a lime tree on his journey to Prague in 1787 after stopping off in the cellars. The Pinkelstein wine cellar lane, with its 28 whitewashed press houses and four front buildings, is one of the most original, beautiful and best-preserved wine cellar lanes in the Weinviertel. It presents itself in all its splendor and invites you to explore it. Guided tours are available all year round by appointment, offering a deep insight into the history and culture of this unique sight. A visit is definitely worthwhile, whether on foot or by bike. It is possible to take a break in the shady "heavenly square" under the lime tree. Cyclists can charge their e-bikes or carry out small repairs at the bike repair stand. The "Pinkelstein" in Raschala is more than just a stone, it is a piece of history and a place that tells stories.
