Popis
Culinary delights in a green setting
The house has been family-owned since 1921. It was first run as a farm, which was gradually transformed by the expansion of the restaurant. A kitchen garden was planted by the grandparents. The nut and fruit trees were planted around 1950 and now provide natural shade in summer. Guests can relax here and enjoy the idyllic garden with a coffee, a good glass of wine or a delicious picnic.
There are different garden themes in the four directions, e.g: Asia with bamboo and reeds. The English garden: hydrangeas, roses and rhododendrons. Italy sends its regards with oleander and Mediterranean herbs.
Karl Rosenbauch's travels to Ireland over the last 15 years have enabled him to make the most of his love of gardening, taking inspiration and incorporating it into the garden. His wish is to share this with people and to let them experience the power and fascination of nature. The balance in nature and the care of the garden are very close to his heart: people and nature must work together!
According to a quote from Erasmus of Rotterdam, Karl Rosenbauch therefore invites you: "Let this place be dedicated to the honorable pleasure of delighting the eye, refreshing the nose and renewing the spirit."
