Skulptur "ohne Titel 2005"

The sculpture "Untitled 2005" by Heimo Zobernig can be seen from afar in the middle of the vineyard in Riede Käferberg. The imposing work of art is 7 meters high and consists of 130 hollow spheres made of untreated steel. Only 3 spheres form the base for the other 127, which are welded together at their contact points. Statically, this is a masterpiece by the specialists entrusted with its realization. Affectionately called the "Grape on the Käferberg" by the locals, the sculpture is the secret landmark of the wine town of Langenlois.

The work of art is best viewed in conjunction with a hike along the WEINWEG Langenlois. Right next to the sculpture, a viewing platform offers a wonderful place to rest and enjoy the fabulous view over Langenlois and the Kamp Valley ("Kamptal" in German) wine-growing region.
